Welcome to ISRenergy!

We are the Lab of Information Systems Research, in particular on Connected Energy Storage, headed by Assistant Professor Marie-Louise Arlt. In our research, we design and evaluate economic incentives and economic policies for the operations of and investment in storage and flexible electric loads. We leverage tools used for optimization, simulation, and empirical economic research. Our research informs policies for decarbonizing electricity and mobility.

The Lab is part of the Faculty of Law, Business and Economics as well as the Bavarian Center for Battery Technology (BayBatt) at the University of Bayreuth. We are funded by the High-Tech Agenda of the Free State of Bavaria.
